Snow-pocalypse

In cycling we like to say “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear.”

Regardless of the schematics of the point, the important thing is that a little weather should never keep you inside, never keep you from having a good time.

When I came to Paris, I said that I wanted it to snow once. I could see its beauty in the snow, take a few pictures, then have it melt immediately so I didn’t have to deal with it. The other day was the third or fourth time, but my first true time of snowy Paris. The first snow I ran away to Barcelona and its endless sunshine, the second I had escaped weeks in advance to Florence. The third time it was snow in the air, but rain on the ground. The fourth time left at least 3 inches and went a whole day without a break from snow tumbling from the sky.

But did we sty inside? No, not a chance. We put on our good gear, took the camera out and had a great time. If you were wondering, this is what Paris looks like in the snow – no editing:
